As im learning html, ^^, i found an small interest. On anything related to Internet,.Yes it would take time on making a Ro database and a simple simulator that supports cards or a pvp damage calculator. I know it, but if you find that you have some spare time, and you want to help me a little bit, maybe we can make this a better site.

I just can't understand how a rookie like me can at least have some good ideas on what's going on. And some serius Ragnarok Fans or Studio Developers can't make at least a good solution for botting. While the real bussines on farming bots is growing.(In this moment, gm's are banning a lot of bots. The other day i saw like 15 novices in Prontera, Xd.That got stuck. Idk if the gm's did something or they simply got stuck there.) I wonder why does RAGNAROK official servers doesn't ban ips, from bots accounts, and just ban the bot Ro account, while you see like 10 bots in each field. They rule low level maps. I found bots are funny, and help a lot for economy of the server. But maybe if they were more discreet, bots wouldn't be such a big problem. Maybe RAGNAROK development is just doomed, and the extra income that comes from bots and zeny trade for real money, it's what its supporting the servers.
So in my opinion why not to purchase an account at IRo Premium Servers, and we help those Iro guys to make money, with more money they would invest on a real protection,in fact without money the companies usally just quit of some projects and start anothers, maybe its time to support them as them support this game on a official form, for so many years.
Maybe its hard to pay a 12$ monthly fee, while you are studying or working, yes i agree. And Rl is more important while some things are more important than others.I know and i agree. Valkyrie server open is a new opportunity for third world country's, that can't afford a $15 fee, not because we can't pay that fee,it's b/c or may we can't who cares .The point is that clearly it is not the cheapest nor the expensive, But cmon that fee is what you earn in one day of work. Cmon show some respect for the game, Lol im joking, Think that you are a proud citizen of Prontera Chivalry Guard, that must pay taxes, and cover some fees of its castle, or equipment,etc..., And yes Valky is a totally new idea, a free service from a official server, WooAh!
Why does private severs must exist?. How would you feel if a 15 years old its running as the Administrator next to a bunch of donas and coffee in a creepy server that would be wipped with an electric shutdown or because it doesnt have enough money for backups on the only server that this freak has, on a Old creepy house on Mexico or another poor country ! (Btw i live in Mexico) Does a bunch of pirates have the right to run a Ragnarok server, it's just weird, maybe it's easier to modify a game and gain profit with it. While starting a videogame from scratch can take years, knowledge and a big amount of cash.
In the other side on this topic, why does Gravity is thinking in making 3d games while clearly is the best on it's formula with 2d sprites mixing 3d worlds. Really if i look for 3d maybe it's obvious that im going to choose an Xbox 360 rpg, Wow, or a Ps3 rpg .Let's be realistic another franchises have better base of players and more titles for it's fans. Also many of this games had been folowing this path ,as 99% of mmorpg players would go for Final fantasy(Actually i Love FF,im just showing an example, Idk many Rpg's)The most popular rpg is World or Warcraft, but why copy them or any other game that has ninja zombies, or the classic medieval formula with things like knight's, airship's powered with some history like magic, mana, bla bla bla.
They are cool things like mana crystals, quest elixirs, mages,etc.. but there in they're original games where they belong, I don't undestand why ppl is so addicted to those games, frankly many of them suck as the whole history involves being a person that takes too seriously the rol inside the game of your fantasy character. I know it's fantasy but some games are kind of weird. Or boring or just to similar to each other.
While Ragnarok didn't follow that path ¿Why not stick to this formula and even gain more profit? Im 100 % sure that if Gravity sells Ragnarok 1 as Ragnarok 2 with new monsters, new sprites, new worlds, even if it's the same interface and same graphics the fans would immediately purchase an account and the studio can obtain more benefits as 0 expenses are related to the game advertisement because the game is popular, and have a safe base of fans.
I even think if gravity starts a brand of it's products like cups, hardware, cards, it would be like Nintendo. For example Nintendo only focus on few characters like donkey kong, mario, metroid, zelda, and it works ! There are games of his characters on Nintendo Ds, Ps2, Xbox, and i can't imagine how a console as Wi can have such a big market,Idk in my humble opionion it was expensive, compared to what it offers, and if you think about it. Is the king of sales. In fact that makes me thing. The great mayority of people i think they choose that videogame because they like a game that involve some memories of his childhood or something funny as Mario Kart, or Mario 64. In fact people love easy and not painful games. That don't require 20000000 hrs of you life. This is quite funny. I play the other type of games, the ones that
need 200000 hours to gain some levels.
Maybe games with creativity have this extra that gamers enjoy. While Ragnrok could be improved in the graphics, but not to the point of rendering totally 3d as Ragnarok 2. Just in my opinion. In Ro you got a piece of art. Don't throw it to the garbage. Despite the fact it was fiercely criticized; because of the time you need to expend there. Days, weeks, moths even years, Don't look the dark side, Think why it has it's fan arts, its cosplayers, its gamers,etc... In my opinion a jewel in the history of videogames. Just my opinion. Don' take this to other level. And think that im saying this, is the best game ever or stuff like that.
Why Ragnarok is so addictive. I don't know maybe because it's just too simple, it doesn't have many system requirements,its easy too undersand thanks to the translation to english and despite the fact it's an asian freaky game, it's still an unique online rpg, I don't know why the formula works but what i know it's a succesful formula that proves that a Korean videogame Company, as Gravity can have actions in Nasdaq thanks to a successfull game called "Ragnarok Online".
How a game with no story, at all. Could be so popular ?. Maybe it's his lack of history what makes you fell like if you could change or write a own personal history there in the moment you log in. You feel affection for that little character. But clearly not all the game is so simple. There are some parts that need that a quest to be completed. Or at least you must know the basics, of your class, to advance to their second class. As some quests are quite funny ,even if you are bored of leveling there is always an option to gather some items in a challenging place, speaking with many Npcs, and listen his crazy stories, more than one time you are going to Say Lol, searching for rare cards is also an option, trying again and again next day and then next day, until you obtain you reward.
Yes every game needs a story , imagine an Npc without a text dialog Maybe it would be a weird game but it's not, as the main history line of Ro is an open world, free to explore at anytime, just in my opinion thats the best guion.
Ragnarok Online it's just that, you start as the biggest novice fag, then you can do make whatever you want, leveling, being a noob, talk,die,die,die try again,and say again im not going to die this time, try again,die lose 3% exp each time you get killed and say
Omg ! who in this world use a dead branch here , stupid db and walk like 20 minutes to your leveling spot just because you don't have any butterfly wing, then a you realize that you are dead because Assasin Cross Eremes is near and he kill you with one blow, then you will close your client because you are so frustrated !Yes that is Ro ! Is like a telenovela with some spicy drama. Without a history line, no Scifx history, with dragons full of polygons, that talk weird things, that in the real world,You will be out of place and you are not going to tell anybody hi Doppelganger, or let's go and kill some Bio Labs monsters. People is going to first, look you strange, and then you are going to be called as the guy that speaks things that the 99% don't understand. I also like that Ro doesn't have content that talk about having sex in a fantasy world . I wonder who come with the idea of Ro, the smartest guy on the planet, besides, most famous scientist of all the time. And who was the fag that ruin all the concept with its 3d games, maybe he just deserves, i dunno maybe get killed on a tsunami or get raped by some horny hyenas.
While Ro its the best game on mixing it's styles, the other games of Gravity corp are just as average as the most overrated games that ever see the day of light . I don't know why gamers like them so much .Yes i agree they are cool, but not amazing . Maybe it's just me.But i think that Counter Strike and Half life are overrated, i found that the graphics on Quake 2 and Quake 3 are better or similar, to the graphics of Cs and HL and such games were released back on the 90's !
By the way, average members that Iro(now Warp Portal) is targeting ,in my opinion. This will happen., first they will be playing like 6 months and they would quit to a private noob server, or maybe they will start blaming about the game or why is so hard to play, think about it if you like easy games go an play Fifa 10 or Runescape. I don't hate that Games. But they are easier compared to Ro.
Also, the few loyal members of Ro maybe are just too dissapointed of Gravitys Updates. Maybe some companies don't rebember who raise their profits!
Now you know, my suggestion. Buy a premium account or play on Valkyrie server because it's free, then you can purchase Kafra points with the money that you will normally pay on Ymir server. So the normal cash that you would pay to play.If you think about it could be invested in some nice equips or some Kafra shop items. Paying for Vip maybe is another great idea. Ymir server maybe has less bots than Valkyrie, and things like mvp stuff, maybe are cheaper or you can get a God item with the correct guild maybe i have my doubts. Kafra points are a good investment, they make Ro easier. Well i think that just my humble opinion. Maybe im wrong. Who cares. But in another point of view the premium server or Vip in Valkyrie offer experience at 150% normally rather than 100 % of V Server. In Valkyrie is like having a bubblegum daily so in long terms it's easier to level with a vip account. Anyway think what server fits on your budget! Do whatever you want !Just don't go to a private server with a population of 500 players and full of custom items. Servers must be supported by serious staff............
